There’s only 4 weeks until Valentine’s Day! That means it’s time again to send our L-O-V-E to our Kids via PANDAS/PANS-GRAMS.
PANDAS Sucks to tell our collective story about PANDAS/PANS. All of our children face great odds and show outstanding strength. Let’s make sure they know how TRULY AMAZING they are! Telling the whole wide world how much we LOVE our kids is something we can ALL get behind. Also, remember to forward this blog to other folks you think might send a note to your child too: grandparents, aunts, uncles, teachers, babysitters, coaches, etc….
The kids will get a kick out of seeing their special Valentine on the Internet. AND…it shows them that they are not alone in all of this. Other kids deal with PANDAS/PANS too. (And Moms/Dads/Caregivers/Friends/Family Members…you’ll see that you’re not alone either.)
It’s a snap to send a note to your child. Simply click here and put the word “Valentine” in your email to me. Start with your child’s first name, nickname or initials. Write a few lines. It could be from the heart, an inside joke, a poem, a picture, or a special song. (Please no copyrighted pics and include a valid link to any music!). When you’re done sending your love, sign the note how you want it to appear. If sending PANDAS/PANS-GRAMS for multiple children, please either send them separately or make sure that each message is clear and complete.
I NEED THE VALENTINE PANDAS/PANS-GRAMS BY THE END OF THE DAY ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 10th, 2017.
The sooner you can send the messages, the better. But please, if possible, email them to me by the end of the day on Friday, February 10th, 2017. I can likely do a few last minute requests, but I can’t do them all last minute, if you know what I mean. And thanks for understanding! Jesse’s 13th birthday is on February 12th. OH MY GOODNESS, JESSE’S GONNA BE A TEENAGER!!!!!!!!! ::faint:: Jesse came home on Valentine’s Day in 2004…look at my little sweetie! Best Valentine’s Day Present ever!
I will publish all of the Valentine’s Day PANDAS/PANS-GRAMS in one big blog post on Tuesday, February 14th. It is a lot of fun putting the Valentine’s Day blogs together. I hope it helps you put a smile on your child’s face. If anybody deserves smiles, it’s PANDAS/PANS Kids! And hopefully, you’ll smile too. It’s my pleasure to do this for the PANDAS/PANS Community. I hope it will be of benefit.
To get you in the mood for Valentine’s Day, here’s an oldie but a goodie! This song is so peppy and sweet. Paul McCartney is just so cute anyway. We can never have enough Silly Love Songs, eh?
Let’s fill the world, or at least this blog, with Silly Love Notes for our PANDAS/PANS Kiddos. Just click here to start saying your I love you’s and remember to send them by February 10th. And like Paul sings, it isn’t silly, love isn’t silly, love isn’t silly at all. Paul also sings about how love is all we need.

Sarah Jane Alleman is a PANDAS Mom to her awesome son, Jesse. She spends much of her time on Facebook, making to-do lists, and listening to music, especially Depeche Mode. She drinks a lot of coffee, likes a good red wine, and has been known to hide chocolate in her pantry. Sarah really thinks PANDAS Sucks (the autoimmune disorder, NOT the bears!). PANDAS Sucks exists to tell the collective story about PANDAS/PANS. Sarah wants to empower other PANDAS Parents and let them know they’re not alone. She is also the Director of Kentucky PANDAS/PANS Support, which strives for more awareness, support, and understanding of PANDAS/PANS. Sarah was a Parent Contributor to the book “PANDAS and PANS in School Settings.” Find PANDAS Sucks on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.
